The History of Knight Software, Inc.

In 1985, Knight Software, Inc. began serving the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment community in Florence, South Carolina. Very quickly, Knight Software became the leading vendor and respected authority throughout the state of South Carolina. As the product and the company continued to mature, Knight Software eventually became the sole software vendor for all of the agencies in the entire state of South Carolina, including its state governing body, the Department of Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS).

Early in 1987, Knight Software began serving the state of Florida, and with this expansion of the company also began servicing clients in the mental health community. The years that have followed have brought extensive growth and expansion of our product and our company. Today, Knight Software is the largest software provider in Florida, implementing our software package in behavioral health agencies and facilities, including ASO providers, throughout the Sunshine State.
